We specialized in GE Washer Repair and all kinds appliance problems and models such as: top load washer repair, front load washer repair, gas dryer repair, electric dryer repair, combo washer/dryer, oven repair, dryer repair, stove repair, cook top repair, electric oven and range repair, wall double oven repair, refrigerator repair, ice maker repair, dishwasher repair, wine cooler repair, and air conditioner repair.
A Bourdon tube type can be used in a pinch but accuracy will be poor at the low end of its range. Valves on the closed end and between the two ends would permit relative pressure readings between the vacuum system and the laser tube to be made. Coarse vacuum gauge - Closed-end manometer (mercury filled).
Total tube height of 150 mm to read 0 to 10 Torr (specific scale factor will depend on density of the oil compared to the density of mercury). Fine vacuum gauge - Closed-end manometer (diffusion pump oil filled).
For the TPU-050, long term operation may be questionable since the special lubricating oil ("operating fluid" as Pfeiffer calls it) for the lower bearing is way past its expiration date (usually considered 2 years life even if the pump is not used). The system consists of: - Pfeiffer model DUO-1.5A two stage rotary vane roughing pump (1.5 m3/hour, 25 l/m, 0.88 cfm, ultimate vacuum better than 6.6x10-4 Torr.
See the section: Disassembling and Inspecting a Pfeiffer Duo 1.5A Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump. The complete manual for the DUO-1.5A can be found at the Pfeiffer Vacuum Web site. I found a more or less complete self contained high vacuum system (well, at least the pumps) in a pile of trash headed for the dumpster.
At $13 an ounce it's not cheap, but it has proven to be the best material I have found for general vacuum work and brazing conflat flanges when I cannot borrow a TIG welder.
From preserving food to making delicious ice candies and serving cold water round the clock, a refrigerator has a lot of work to do. Ordinary 60/40 solder has proven to leak and outgas a lot. 56 to plasma without much sputtering, yet for small pieces to be jointed, you can use a ordinary propane torch with the black flux.
There's no question regarding it--taking the phone to talk to a good repair service expert is much better and very handy compared to driving on the shop to choose a replacement appliance! And, I don't have any sort of documentation for the TCP-040 turbo pump controller but with only 3 pushbutton switches, how much could there be to mastering it!
Typical choices are either a laboratory vacuum pump or one designed for the refrigeration service industry. These were driven with one of my pump protector CVT-16s and the NV-8B, respectively. A small pump is fine as long as it can reach a vacuum of 0.1 Torr or better.
One going to only 1 Torr will be more than adequate for the N2 and CO2 lasers. During preassembly testing of the TCP-040, I did find a dead fuse (not blown but the element came off at one end) so maybe that's why it was retired. By fixing the machines their selves, they could have the situation even more difficult and they could end " up " paying out more than the price restoration by a experienced expert.
Clutch end double row type 3202 in some books, but is 3203C3 (aka 5203), 17 x 14 x 17.5 mm. I then installed a DV-6M (1 to 1,000 microns) and DV-8M (0.1 to 10 microns). Then I took my air hose and blew the pipe out. The foreline connections are QF10 or QF16 clamped fittings with a long stainless steel bellows hose for vibration isolation. I disconnected the turbo pump outlet from the foreline and put the DV-6M there to confirm that the pump was working fine.
